Using TweetDeck to manage multiple Twitter accounts

Are you an Online Marketing Agency responsible for managing multiple clients’ Social Media activities? Perhaps you’re a business owner to more than one business and you publish content to multiple social media accounts? If you manage more than a few Twitter and Facebook pages then you know what is involved each time you have to publish information. With Facebook Pages you only need to be an admin to publish information to each page for that you manage. With Twitter you must log in to each different account that you are responsible for. Having to log in to each Twitter account separately makes your time spent on Twitter less efficient. If you’re feeling like the information above describes your current frustrations with social media management, no worries as there is a solution; use TweetDeck to manage Social Media.

TweetDeck is free client-based software that permits you to publish information to:

  • Multiple Twitter accounts
  • Multiple Facebook Pages
  • Your LinkedIn account
  • Your MySpace account
  • Your foursquare venue
  • Your Google Buzz account

As you may know, here on AutoBurst TV we capture video tutorials from experts using various online marketing tools. The series is meant to help both businesses & individuals who are looking to use social media more effectively. This episode from our AC Social series. In the video below, Ryan Taft from Catalyst Marketers talks about using TweetDeck to manage multiple Twitter accounts. This video shows where and how to download/install TweetDeck for use on your Mac, PC, or iPhone. TweetDeck is super effective when managing multiple social media accounts, as it provides a single interface to update all of your social media accounts. With that said, there is more to TweetDeck than what is shown in this video. We are working towards a follow-up video that goes deeper into things like loading and viewing columns, showing posts from those you follow, mentions, direct messages, and new followers. We’ll be sure to let everyone know when our next TweetDeck video is ready.
